These are the descriptions of the pictures on the photo page

Picture #1 shows the different hammers used by the Telephone man,first one is a linesman hammer, the hole in the head was used to place and adjust pole steps, second one is a masonary hammer, a large and small tack hammerand last is a stanard carpenders hammer.
Picture #2 shows the differant screwdrivers, the first three are made by Stanley and the others are early Bridgeports.
Picture #3 are different pliers,1st are commom set of combination pliers, 2,3,4 are differant types of sleeve pressors, 5 is an old style wire cutter, 6 are a set of coil removers used by central office techs, 7 is a set of wire cutters with insulated handles.
Picture #4 a pair of b-wire pressors, open end wrench for air tank gauges, lead dressor (used to form lead sleeves to lead cable),two types of drop wire splitters and two leather covered tape measures.
Picture #5 an old soldering iron, carding brush(used to clean lead cables),folding wood ruler, leather pouch for sheath knife and snips, lashing wire clamp(for holding lashing wire while working on cables)and a volt ohm meter used mostly by repairman.
Picture #6 two styles of flashlights,two differant locks, bit used to drill,hole in pole for through bolt and water bag.
Picture #7 Buttsets from top left, used by repairman prior to the use of dials, small pencil dial used by outside plant until the mid 70',third from left a Beco used by the independent companies, top right used by central office techs, bottom row used from mid 70' to present.
Picture #8 belt and hooks, had to have these to work in outside plant.
